We all do it. We all want to stand out from the crowd. There's a hunger for it, and we're searching for better ways to describe ourselves, to elevate ourselves above the rest. We need to be seen, we want to be part of the universal and we need to be exclusive.

Photography is a ubiquitous art. It is very easy to create a photograph, and even one that is technically very good. The tools are readily available.

Another quick one today. I've been wanting to blog this wedding for a little while now but haven't got around to it properly. Dribs and drabs. I came across this one today, which didn't necessarily make the final cut, but I really like it for all the obvious reasons. It moves, it shows a bit of the excitement and chaos in the buzz and preparations before the ceremony.

A return to film

I've been shooting film for years, and was fortunate to be one of the last generation to learn the process of photography in darkrooms and in a very hands-on way. Digital photography became a great enabler for bazillions of photographers and along with the internet has become an integral part in all of our every day lives.
