It's been a busy few months for me. Seriously. Apart from the usual shooting pattern you'd imagine at this time of the year, my wife and I have been full on with bringing our new baby, Edwen, into the world. In the run up to his birth we were on red alert for 5 or 6 weeks as we were being told that his arrival was 'imminent' or 'any day now'. As it turns out he was two weeks overdue, or late, as I like to think of it. And he was born a good weight (10.5lb) and very healthy and calm. We're all very happy in my house!

Just a quick one today - this is Sarah just before making an entrance to her wedding breakfast. I like the simplicity and I love the fact that it was just one of those spontaneous moments that happen quickly before everybody moves on. It's often the time when people are at their most honest or authentic, and can be a great opportunity to capture the real essence of emotion. This is when all the preparation in the world would simply get in the way of a good picture. It's not posed, and not designed, but a genuine moment of reflection while Sarah was hanging back from the madding crowds.
