About Me

I'm a full-time wedding and portrait photographer. I live in Godalming, Surrey.

I have been involved with picture making since I was very young, and it's been a constant investigation into life and the world we live in. I've always been fascinated with the nostalgia of the family album, and the powerful emotional pull of the snapshots in time that can pin down our memories and experiences. Photographs tell us who we were, when we're at our best and worst, and how far we've travelled. They are full of the people who made us and the places that we have come from. Powerful jolts back through time, captured for a moment.

I'm in love with weddings. I connect with people and always find myself in the middle of the action where the best pictures are. I work very hard to make sure that the best possible photographs are captured for you to treasure and keep for years to come. Everything is covered, every sequence rendered with technical skill, backed up with years of experience. I'm very proud of my work, and the way I interact with you and your guests on the day.
I'm regularly booked at some of Surrey's finest wedding venues, and will sometimes find myself at garden parties or blessings in all sorts of extravagant locations.

A wedding is a coming together of hundreds of elements of spontaneity, planned theatre, and emotional surprises that I tune in to and piece together to develop the story of your day. For me it's primarily about the simplicity of great photography, and the best photography has the ability to capture a moment in time with a great emotional impact. I'm focused on providing a bespoke service and delivering elegant and luxurious albums and print presentation. It's an absolute pleasure - a privilege and a responsibility that I don't take lightly.

I live with my lovely wife, Carrie, and our twins, Martha and Rose, and now Edwen, our new baby boy has joined in....Billy the cat is never far behind.
